Pudgy Penguins kicks off their storytelling adventure with an animated short film! On Thursday September 30th, the Pudgy Penguins team shared a video of their first ever iteration of their collections’ lore, kicking off the beginning of their storytelling adventure.
Pudgy Penguins’ Chapter One
The animated video was made in collaboration with the blockchain-based entertainment studio Non-Fungible Film, and showcased their first short story titled “CHAPTER ONE: THE GREAT BLIZZARD”.

The animation itself showcases a number of Pudgy Penguin characters owned by holders who had offered their IP for the team to use for this film, adventuring together through a blizzard and teasing the future of the Pudgy Penguins collections’ future.
The Pudgy Penguins team explains that this animated film was only the first iteration, and that they plan on making many more to continue their storytelling objective in the future.
“Our story will allow us to expand our content and illustrate our vision to the world. We’re excited for you to embark with us on our journey through The Great Blizzard and beyond.” the team said.
Along with that, the team also notified the community that similar to their previous projects, holders of Pudgy Penguins will be able to be casted and featured on these future animated films.
“Licensing Penguins from The Huddle will be an important piece to our storytelling initiative. We want our community to play an integral role on how we tell stories.“
Pudgy Projects
The Pudgy Penguins collection has been having an incredibly busy last few months, with multiple announcements and projects in the making.
The most recent announcement the team had made was the upcoming release of their Pudgy Penguins Toy Line, which would feature plushies and collectibles.
