The latest highly-anticipated Web3 project, Momoguro, has recently released a long thread on their Twitter, detailing everything about their project and team, as well as their vision for the future. Here’s what you need to know!
About MomoGuro’s Team
A new branch created by the popular Emmy award-winning animation and virtual reality studio, Baobab Studios, MomoGuro is a digital collectibles and story-driven game built on Web3 technology.
The leading team behind Baobab Studios are made up of some huge names in the industry, including Boabab’s founder and CEO Maureen Fan, who was previously a vice president of video game developer Zynga, as well as Boabab’s CCO Eric Darnell, previously a director at Dreamworks Studios.
MomoGuro’s team specifically are also established figures themselves, including MomoGuro Co-Creators Nico Casavecchia and Martin Alé, who are both award-winning directors, screenwriters, illustrators and animators.
Members of the Games team has also previously led some massive game franchises, including Minecraft, League of Legends, Pokemon, The Sims, and more.

MomoGuro’s Vision & Plans
The team is reportedly looking to make some massive moves this upcoming year with their project, with plans to build multiple story-driven strategy RPG games as well as building a universe with “hundreds of characters.”
The project also wants to develop its IP, claiming that their IPs are built “with a long-term vision in mind.”
“The Momoguro IP is bigger than just the digital collectible, We will have global distribution. In parallel, we’ve been developing a metaverse game (@MomoMetaverse) for a top gaming platform, a TV show, and collectibles.” The MomoGuro team wrote.
“Web3 is really exciting for us because it is another medium for us and really aligned with our mission statement, which is to inspire the world to dream, bring out your sense of wonder and make you matter,” Baobab Studios CEO Maureen Fan said earlier in November.
