After rebranding, GameSwift is now on Polygon Supernets! On August 23rd, Polygon announced the exciting news about GameSwift on Twitter.
The Announcement
On August 23rd, Polygon posted surprising news via Twitter that now WEB3 gaming ecosystem GameSwift debuts on Polygon Supernets. GameSwift was previously known as StarTerra on the Terra Blockchain. Now, after rebranding, GameSwift has moved to Polygon Supernets.
What is GameSwift? GameSwift is building a 360-degree platform for game developers and gaming studios, providing the tools to launch WEB2 games into the WEB3 industry.

Polygon and GameSwitft
In the announcement, Polygon attached a blog post explaining more about GameSwift.
Polygon wrote, “GameSwift also allows developers to port their projects into the decentralized space, giving them the tools to scale and customize them — all powered by Polygon Supernets technology, which allows for the creation of application-specific, scalable, and customizable blockchain networks.”
What is more interesting is the partnership between GameSwift and Polygon will boost the recent influx of WEB2 games entering the WEB3 world.
Polygon added, “To make the platform as user-friendly as possible, all titles in the GameSwift ecosystem will be accessible via a dedicated launcher that will store and constantly update them to the latest version.”
Furthermore, to help developers attract gamers, there is a feature called GameSwift ID. GameSwift ID will allow players to log into any game available on the network. At the same time, it will also keep track of the players’ NFTs or currencies in-game, “regardless of the game title or the chain the assets are based on.”
Another feature is GameSwift Portal. This feature will help developers launch their Initial Game Offerings (IGOs) and Initial NFT Offerings (INOs). There are more features in the platform for developers.
