Yuga Labs Opens New Instagram Account
Yuga Labs opens new Instagram account!
Team behind major NFT projects Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), Mutant Ape Yacht Club (MAYC), CryptoPunks, Meebits and more has just officially opened their own Instagram account for the first time!
The Account
@YugaLabs is now the teams only other Instagram account aside from their Bored Ape Yacht Club account, which has over 664,000 followers at the time of writing.

Many are excited at the prospect of Yuga Labs opening this new account as it follows Meta’s recent announcement of integrating NFTs onto Instagram and Facebook, allowing investors to post their NFTs in a verified manner on their accounts.
Many also argue that this new account could aid in bringing more attention and awareness to the world of NFTs for the general public. For a long time, most NFT projects used Twitter as their social media of choice to bring updates and interact with its community, but many argue that bringing these interactions to Instagram could help open the project up to more of the general public.

Yuga Labs & Instagram
Despite this however, some in the community have expressed a level of concern at the fact that Yuga Labs is opening yet another Instagram account. This is due to the fact that just earlier this year in April, the Bored Ape Yacht Club official Instagram account faced a massive hack that led to a hacker posting a phishing link on their account, causing more than $2.8 million worth of NFTs to be stolen.
With the fact that Yuga Labs has now created another account, which has already become verified and will soon earn a lot of followers from dedicated investors and members of the community, it’s very likely that this account could again become the target of malicious hackers and scammers.

Despite this, many in the community are still continuing to look forward to the new Instagram account, wanting to be able to see more updates and interactions through the means of another social media platform.
