Yuga Labs Collections Lead NFTs Market Surge This Month!
This past month, the NFT market has been making a major comeback with multiple collections seeing their trading volume and floor prices rise within the first two weeks of 2023. Out of all the rising NFT collections however, Yuga Labs’ collections have been taking the lead in trading volume.
BAYC, MAYC, BAKC & Otherdeeds’ Rise
Four of Yuga Labs’ collections, Bored Ape Yacht Club, Mutant Ape Yacht Club, Bored Ape Kennel Club, and Otherdeeds’ Otherside have been leading the market with a combined trading volume of around $56.3 million in sales within the past 7 days.
All four collections have also been seeing a massive rise in their trading volume this week in comparison to the previous week, with MAYC seeing the biggest surge, a rise of up to 56% in trading volume.

Hype Surrounding Yuga Labs
The reason for Yuga Labs’ collections massive amounts of trading volume within this past month may be due to the hype surrounding multiple Yuga Labs’ projects underway this 2023.
Back in December, the team announced that the long-awaited second trip to their Otherside Metaverse will take place sometime this 2023. The Otherside’s first trip in July 2022 was mega succesful, raking in thousands of players who were able to experience the digital world extremely smoothly. This successful first trip has definitely brought on more hype and excitement for the upcoming second trip.
Other than that, Yuga Labs also recently announced the launch of their new upcoming game, Dookey Dash, set to launch on January 18th 2023.
This project, described to be a “skill-based minting game,” allows BAYC and MAYC holders to receive a free “Sewer Pass NFTs” which will allow them to experience playing the exclusive game. Users are also able to combine their MAYC or BAYC NFTs with a BAKC NFT to receive a different tier of Sewer Pass.
This announcement has no doubt helped Yuga Labs’ projects to soar even higher, with both Bored Ape Yacht Club and Mutant Ape Yacht Club NFTs seeing their trading volume surge by more than 200% on the day of the announcement earlier last week.
