First trip to the Otherside Metaverse this Saturday, here’s what to expect! Excitement is building up as Yuga Labs has officially finished the load tests for their Otherside Metaverse, meaning that the first trip to the Otherside is not far away.
First Load Tests
For the past month, Yuga Labs’ first two load tests have been extremely successful, with the platform being able to host more than 2,500 players at the same time. Yuga Labs earned many praises for the smooth sail of its first two load tests as players were all able to move around the game and use their mic smoothly throughout the tests.

Upcoming First Trip
Now, the finally long awaited first trip test is on sight to take place on Saturday, 16th of July, just like originally scheduled.
The first trip to the Otherside will be playable only in North America and Europe for “Voyagers” and is described to be “a celebration of what’s to come and an opportunity for Voyagers to gather, explore, and plan.”
Yuga Labs team will also be hosting a private livestream to ensure that all “Voyagers”—even those in non-supported regions— can experience the First Trip.
Players joining the first trip to the Otherside Metaverse will be able to experience many things including those that were seen and experimented on in the first two load tests including smooth having characters that can walk, run, jump, and emotes, players being able to chat to one another in real time using a mic, and thousands of users who can interact with one another in an ‘immersive play area.’
