String Bean, an NFT artist has revealed his identity as Jim Carrey who is an actor turned Web3 trailblazer.

Jim Carrey is known as The two-time Golden Globe-winner, he also starred the Fox sketch comedy In Living Color (1990) and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994), Dumb and Dumber (1994) and The Mask (1994).
Under an alias, String Bean, the artist has released a five animated NFT called “Germinations” on the Foundation platform.
NFT studio Big Head Club brings each item to life with the combination of Jim’s artwork and narration.
“Germinations, my first collection, is going live on Foundation today. Can’t wait for every single one of you to see these five pieces,” tweeted Carrey on May 10.

A journey through the 5 works of art explores the multiple Jims that exist within the complex persona of the ‘former’ actor.
Although String Bean’s true identity was obfuscated by a multitude of out in the open clues, he performed a mind-bending experiment into how society viewed the crossroads where art, fame, and value meet.
The Germinations project has received a modest amount of volume in NFT circles since it released, totaling 2.77 ETH ($4750).
Prior to revealing his identity, the offers hovered around 1.5 ETH ($2500), and now after people know who is behind those pseudonym, collectors can expect a flurry of bids!
