RTFKT x Nike AR hoodie launching this week, here are the details! Today, the minting of the limited edition RTFKT x Nike AR hoodies have started for all CloneX and Cryptokicks holders, so here’s everything you need to know about the new AR Genesis Hoodies.
AR Genesis Hoodie
The AR Genesis Hoodie was originally revealed to the community in April and is the first hoodie created in collaboration with Nike since the sportswear acquired RTFKT last December. The hoodie has started its private minting today, July 21st, for only a select amount of CloneX and RTFKT x Nike Dunk Genesis Cryptokicks holders, making this hoodie extremely limited in stock.
The special hoodie makes use of augmented reality (AR) technology, and is given in both NFT forms to wear for CloneX avatars as well as real-life physical forms for holder to wear.

The hoodie is given in both NFT forms to wear for CloneX avatars as well as real-life physical forms for holder to wear. It also makes use of augmented reality (AR) technology, through trackers and QR codes, owners of the hoodie will be able to add AR visual effects like virtual wings.

RTFKT x Nike AR Products
This isn’t the first time RTFKT and Nike have teamed up to create an AR product. Earlier this year, they also launched the successful ‘Dunk Genesis Cryptokicks’ sneakers collection which also utilizes AR technology.
“This Genesis Hoodie is a new way to think of IRL clothes for us,” one of RTFKT’s founders, Benoit Pagotto, said in a tweet. “can’t wait to release it; it’s been years we dream of combining AR and clothes, getting you all ready early for the year we’ll all be wearing AR.”
