OpenSea Introduces Solana Launchpad For A Better Mint Experience

OpenSea introduces Solana launchpad for a better mint experience. On 19 July 2022, OpenSea posted this good news on Twitter, announcing the collaboration with Solana.

OpenSea’s Solana Launchpad

OpenSea is the largest NFT marketplace based in New York. In a recent post on OpenSea’s website, the collaboration has appeared as OpenSea sees the potential in Solana. OpenSea said, “In the last year, Solana has emerged among the top blockchains for NFTs, and we share their vision of a scalable and inclusive NFT ecosystem.” 

A Better Mint Experience

What is mint or minting? It is a process of adding a digital file to become a digital asset on the blockchain. In this collaboration between OpenSea and Solana, creators can host a new mint from the beginning. They will also help guide creators during the process from pre-mint to post-mint. 

Two Solana creators joining the collaborations are Zoonies and Monkai. A total of 8,888 Zoonies were available on 20 July 2022. The first collection of Monkai will be available later this month. The main goal of this partnership is to create “the best Solana experience in the NFT ecosystem.” The news brings excitement to the community.

There are two points in the collaboration. First, creators can make a Solana collection that will automatically appear on OpenSea. Later, they can share the links with their community after the minting begins. Second, always have custody of the NFTs. OpenSea will not hold the NFTs as they will remain in the wallet until it has sold.
