Everything You Need To Know About The Upcoming Moonbirds DAO!
About The DAO
Recently, the PROOF collective held a discussion to explain further on its upcoming Moonbirds DAO that’s been teased by the team since earlier this August.
The team will be allocating more than $2.5 million to the DAO, $2M of which will come directly via ETH, while the remaining $500,000 will come from buying Moonbirds NFTs, approximately 37 NFTs based on current ETH prices and Moonbirds’ floor price.

Along with that, the team revealed that PROOF will award the DAO seven of its own Moonbirds NFTs, worth around $100,000 in total.

It’s also been revealed that up to 35% of royalties received from secondary sales of Moonbirds and Oddities NFTs will all go to fund the DAO in the form of ETH.
The team explains through a Twitter thread that the aim of creating this is to “empower the creatives to further the Moonbirds ecosystem, reputation, lore.”
When It Will Launch
The team have since announced that the DAO will launch sometime early 2023. This goes hand in hand with some of the Moonbirds’ other plans and projects that are scheduled to launch at the same time next year.
Aside from this, earlier this August, PROOF also mentioned plans to launch their own utility token as well as their newest collection, Moonbirds Mythics, dubbed as ‘Moonbirds 2’ by many in the community, sometime in Q1 of 2023.
