Last month, major NFT project Bored Ape Yacht Club revealed their first ever Bored Ape community council, now the team has launched their very own Twitter account.

The Bored Ape Yacht Club team recently announced on their Twitter the launch of the new Twitter account for their BAYC Community Council team.
The new page, @BaycCouncil, was described by the council to be a space to help the community connect more with each other, with the team aiming to host more community Twitter spaces for discussions as well as provide more community-based updates on the account.

“We’re excited to continue to connect with all the great members of our club #apetogetherstrong,” the team tweeted.
BAYC Council
The Bored Ape Community Council was formed just last month, with Yuga Labs explaining that the aim of the council was to help not only gather and bring the community together, but also help in bringing forward the BAYC community’s voice and opinions towards the team.
The creation of the council made quite the buzz in October when it was first announced, with seven of the members revealed to be some notable figures in the NFT and BAYC community.
Though this had been the first community council that they announced for their project, Yuga Labs did note that there will be many other councils to come in the future for their other notable projects like Meebits, CryptoPunks and Otherside.
