After having been granted a massive bail agreement just last week, former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) is turning heads yet again as sources claim he may be in talks to create a “potential movie deal.”

According to the New York Post, sources recently saw Michael Lewis, the writer behind blockbuster films “The Big Short” and “Moneyball” was spotted going to Sam Bankman-Fried’s parents’ home in California where the former FTX CEO is currently staying after being house arrested.
Lewis was said to have spent a considerable amount of time in the home, up to several hours, only hours after SBF initially arrived in the state on Friday.
Sources say that both Lewis and SBF have been in talks since long before FTX suffered any financial issues, with the report saying that the two had been talking for more than 6 months now.
Their meeting has led to many talks about the possibility of Lewis pitching ideas to create a movie around Bankman-Fried and his journey as former FTX founder and CEO. Since then, Lewis’ representatives have even added that SBF’s story and the collapse of his crypto empire are “more than sufficient for a signature Michael Lewis book.”

If rumors of this potential book or movie about Sam Bankman-Fried are true, the former billionaire will have less than a month to collaborate with Lewis before his next scheduled trial on January 3rd 2023.
This next trial will determine whether SBF is guilty of all his 8 charges, which will oversee whether the disgraced former CEO will receive a punishment of life in prison.
Recent news has also come out that a new judge has been assigned to Bankman-Fried’s case next month, with officials announcing it to be high-profile US District Judge Lewis Kaplan.
Kaplan had previously overseen multiple other major cases, including sex abuse claims against Prince Andrew as well as the current defamation lawsuit against former president Donald Trump.
