Eight Founder & Crypto Analysts Says to Accumulate Bitcoin Until Next Year
Michaël van de Poppe, the CEO and Founder Eight, a crypto education and consultancy platform, told his 627,700 Twitter followers on September 22 to accumulate Bitcoin until 2023.

On his Twitter Michaël van de Poppe said “ People are literally waiting for; So, now #Bitcoin moon or doom?. We simply can’t tell so fast after such an event; it requires some time. Markets are pricing in the worst, but all I say is that now until 2023 is the period to accumulate.”

To maintain bullish momentum, Van de Poppe says Bitcoin must reclaim $19,000 from $18,950.

“Bitcoin literally has been making a fake-out at the FOMC [Federal Open Market Committee] event. I’m not sure whether we’re already seeing the trend. Probably direction will come today/tomorrow. For now, Bitcoin needs to reclaim $19,000 in order to have any bullishness,” said him.
One Twitter user commented on his post, saying “ Correct, know thats thinking. Allocate something guys if u can, because if this IS bottom , you defiantly dont wanna miss these levels. *good luck my friends.”

He prefers to go long on Bitcoin and the general crypto markets rather than wait for the price to drop.
“I’d still preferably want to be long on the markets of #crypto here rather than waiting for $12-14K,” said the founder.

According to Van de Poppe, crypto markets have responded favorably to yesterday’s interest rate hike, especially the US Dollar Index (DXY)

“Very good reaction on the markets. DXY tumbling down. Yields tumbling down a bit. Indices up. Bitcoin up.”
US dollar strength is measured by the DXY. A weaker DXY means it’s better for crypto assets. Looking at his post about his DXY chart, Van de Poppe said “ “Bearish divergences everywhere on the chart for DXY”.
